The past few months have been a time for reflection and planning at Axium. A big part of this planning has been to look at the bigger picture and to build excitement for Axium’s future. It has been tough to balance the on-the-ground reality of Covid-19 with longer term thinking. However, the current circumstances have also given us a unique opportunity to think about our vision and why we are doing what we are doing. With a renewed focus for this year and plans growing for the next, we are hopeful of and committed to a ‘new normal’ that brings us closer to the world our vision describes: one in which every rural learner leaves school with purpose, agency and options. With that in mind the Axium team spent some time re-imagining what our schools in a ‘new normal’ could look like:
